91 days and counting

I am in the third trimester now. There is one word for that. SCARY. This really is the home stretch now, and soon I'll have Jaidyn in my arms. One minute I think, oh wow, 3 more months, thats forever, but then I think... 3 MORE MONTHS OMG THAT'S SO SOON!!! My belly is growing constantly so I try to avoid the scale. Not that I'll be able to see it for much longer.

This weekend was a productive one. Saturday we registered at Babies R Us. Ty then took me to a pet store that had all sorts of animals and goodies for my bunnies. There was one rabbit there that decided he didn't like his cage, so he jumped into the next one beside him. He didn't like that one either, and jumped into the one beside that. It was so funny to watch, and so cute!!! Didn't do much Saturday night, I think I fell asleep on the couch. Sunday was my busy day. I pretty much cleaned out the baby's room of all my crap that has accumulated in there since we moved. I painted one wall, the closet door, and the dresser/changing table a gorgeous baby blue color, and hung up curtains. It looks really good now, almost like a nursery. We just need a crib now.

Here is my weekly belly picture at 27 weeks

IT'S A BOY

Saturday, Ty and I took our mom's out, saying that we were going out to lunch. Well to their surprise we took them to a 3D ultrasound. We got to see our little baby, and I have to say what a cutie. Last week I decided I wanted to find out if it was a boy or a girl, and now I am proud to say that we are expecting a baby BOY!!! He is defiantly 100% all boy and very proud of it. He kept showing it off during the ultrasound. Our little boy, Jaidyn, has the cutest little chubby cheeks, nose, mouth, fingers... everything is absolutely adorable. He kept his hads up by his face during the entire ultrasound, kept sucking his left thumb while having his right had up by his right ear. It was so cute. It will be neat to see if he sleeps like this after he's born. He kicked me quite a bit during the ultrasound too, so we couldn't get a good shot of his legs because they wouldn't stay still long enough. But I'm so glad we went and had it done. The grandma's were thrilled too. And now we have some real keepsake pictures to show him when he's older.

Needless to say, Ty is thrilled at the thought of a little boy to share his video games with and play soccer with. I'm already threatening to put Jaidyn in a little sailor suit, but Ty doesn't like that idea (what Ty doesn't know doesn't hurt him). I also have to find him an adorable little Santa suit for Christmas. Oh the shopping I could do. I saw a really cute onsie down in Macy's that said "Mommy's New Man." I can't wait to go shopping for Jaidyn.

So other than finding out the gender of our little monkey, nothing really happened this week. Had a few nasty migraines, but not a bad week. Now we just have to wait about 14 weeks (98 days) to meet this little guy. I'm hoping he won't go past my due date, but the way he's kicking me, I'm sure he's already planning his escape lol!!!

Anyways, here are some pictures of our little guy and my latest belly shot at 26 weeks.

25 weeks - 15 to go

Time is flying by and its getting scary. Baby is getting so much stronger now too. When we went to the movies last week, baby discovered my bladder again. And I swear if you could have seen inside baby was singing "I found your bladder!" then stomping on it a few times. Another fun thing that baby does is play the 'kick/poke' game as I called it. When baby kicks me, I give a little poke back. Baby then kicks me in the same place so I poke back. Repeat until baby falls asleep. Well now baby plays the game with daddy. Ty had his hand on my belly, and baby kicked daddy, daddy poked back. It continued for about a minute or two and was really cute... daddy baby bonding :D :D

We are now pretty sure we have a boy and a girl name picked out for the baby. Both first names start with J. So I am now calling the baby Jelly Bean because either way baby would have the same initials.

We got the rest of my stuff moved into the apartment on Saturday. We celebrated by having a nap, then going out to the Keg for dinner... yummy chicken teriyaki and garlic mashed potatoes :D. The apartment is still a mess, but we're making our way through the mess, and Ty is still being a really big help unpacking. I can only do a few things before my round ligament pain gets really sore.

Speaking of that evil pain... Friday was pretty scary. I had terrible pain, and I could barely manage to walk a few steps. I cried every time I had to get out of my chair and walk. Then by the end of the day I started getting really sharp stabbing pains in the center of the bottom of my belly. I was still feeling the baby move so I just let the pain ride itself out but OWWW!!!

So here is an update of my belly at 25 weeks... getting bigger everyday.

24 weeks and counting

16 weeks left, 1 month until the prenatal classes start, and tentatively 12 weeks until maternity leave starts!!! Where did the time go? Seems like yesterday when I found out at only 3 weeks... wow...

Ty and I are mostly in to the new apartment, and its a big mess. Ty has been an absolute angel about moving. I can't lift pretty much anything, and just going up and down the stairs a few times hurts (the round ligament pain thing). The sad part is, that it is all my stuff that Ty is moving. He doesn't know how much I appreciate it him doing all this. Makes me love him that much more.

The bunnies are settled into the apartment. Ashley is still pissed as hell and hides behind her litter box thinking I can't see her. Coco is pretty much still interference to the move. I just think she's happy that she's not in a small cage anymore, but back in her huge pen.

Anyways, just a short update. Even though I didn't do much in the way of moving stuff I still managed to over do it and I have been having random braxton hicks contractions (oops, don't tell my doctor I over did it :S) So tonight is a night of doing not much. I'm actually going to a cake decorating class, so that should keep me somewhat still for 2 hours.

Here is my 24 weeks belly... I'm gonna be MASSIVE

23 week doctor appointment

Just a short update. We went to the doctor yesterday for my regular checkup. Blood pressure still looks good, so WOOHOO!!! and let's not talk about weight gain lol, not bad, still below average, but ouch is all I'm gonna say. The round ligament pain that I still have is normal, and I got a dirty look when I told her that we were moving, so I'm REALLY not allowed to touch any boxes now (sorry Ty).

The funniest part was when the doctor was checking the our little monkey's heartbeat. As soon as she put the doppler on my tummy, baby woke up and kicked it. Then baby wouldn't stay still for very long to let us hear the heartbeat and kept squirming around. I couldn't stop laughing because I could feel the baby trying to hide from the doctor, and we could hear the swooshing sound from the baby moving around. Still has 16 and a half weeks until the due date and our baby is the biggest brat, but I knew that at around 11 weeks with the first scare (painful cramping). Anyhooo there's a mini update on our little one.
